October was good to us
October started off great! Leon flew up to KS to bring the kids and me back. We attended of mines wedding in KS, and had a great, Kid free time J We headed back to TX on Oct. 2nd…… and the rest of the month was a blur.
We ....
Made a trip to the pumpkin patch in Medina- a new Harrison family tradition
Karson got his 1st ever haircut
I was blessed enough to celebrate another birthday
Went trick or treating… candy from strangers, why not?
Enjoyed the beautiful weather and playing outside
Lots of trips to Landa park
Did lots of fun crafts…Khloe is quickly becoming known as the crayon Queen.
October was good to us
September.....was only 3 months ago
September was so long ago the only 2 things that sticks out in my mind are…
#1. September 13th, Why? It was a very rough mommy day because my little angels started sleeping in toddler beds :( they are no longer confined on all 4 sides, this milestone as hit me much more than most of the others. I am not sure why this is such a difficult one for me, I as excited to move them out of the nursery and give them each their own space, I preached to my husband for months about giving them their own since so often I feel like people look at twins as a package deal. I wanted the to have things that were okay not to share, and a place where they can go to get away from each other. It has turned into places they hang out and hide from mommy and daddy, where they love to share and show off their own belongings.
#2. At the very end of September we had my sister, Melanie fly down to visit us and ride to KS with the children and me. She got to experience the Comal county fair, the fair parade, Los Gallos tacos, Gruene, and all the charm of New Braunfels. We loved having her and are ready to have her come back!!
We ended the month in KS, the weather was cooler and it was nice just to spend time with my family. Karson and Khloe love their cousins soooo much and I love getting to see them spend time togehter. We took a trip to the Wichita zoo and spent lots of time playing outside ...take a look below at all the fun we had :) Enjoy and be blessed!
